Imagine, if you will, sweeping, melodic masterpieces of artistic rock. Beautiful blended harmonies combined with long and masterful musical interludes designed to showcase the sensitive, meaningful, passion filled lyrics. So, what does Turbo Gerbil do? Turbo Gerbil lives by simple motto, really. "Don't let them stop to breathe." Followed by the second corollary, "Subtlety is overrated." Setting up a solid, irresistable groove that moves at a quick pace, this band considers anything under 130 beats per minute to be a ballad. It plays towards the hard and heavy side of rock and roll, with the occassional nod towards progressive. It is a mix of vocal and instrumental music, original songs and a few select covers.

So if you are looking for something a bit outside the ordinary, a reprieve from most of what passes for music today, and yes, possibly a bit of a throwback to when musicianship was not a dirty word, then catch a Turbo Gerbil show. You will not be disappointed.
